Global Warming By Another Name - Reason Magazine
President Barack Obama uttered not a peep about global warming in his State of Union this year. No dire warnings about climate apocalypse. No calls for cap-and-trade. Has this cold winter convinced him to put his global warming agenda on ice?

Hardly. Indeed, even in this age of deficits and debt, the president’s budget is chock full of global warming items—except he wraps them around a new cause: clean energy.
The great “carbon pollution” lie | Herald Sun Andrew Bolt Blog
There is neither the need to abbreviate carbon dioxide to carbon; and the exercise of abbreviation renders it inaccurate. A bald-faced, quite deliberate lie.

For if carbon dioxide can be called “carbon pollution”, in this or any other universe, in this or any other reality, well then rain has to be called “hydrogen pollution”.

The reason the term is used by Gillard is an exercise of quite deliberate despicable dishonesty.

AS debate heats up in Australia over the proposed carbon tax, climate change has been sidelined in talks between Prime Minister Julia Gillard and US President Barack Obama.

Speaking after Ms Gillard’s first visit to the White House as Prime Minister, Mr Obama did not mention climate change as an issue.
