  1. 'Liar dudes' claim CO2 levels directly control (like a "thermostat") global temperatures and it doesn't.
  2. 'Liar dudes' predicted accelerating warming, which is not happening.
  3. 'Liar dudes' said warming was unequivocal, which has turned out to be robustly fabricated.
  4. 'Liar dudes' said modern warming was unprecedented, with only a falsified, lame hockey-stick as evidence versus hundreds of other studies.
  5. 'Liar dudes' said sea level rises are accelerating, which they're not.
  6. 'Liar dudes' said that warming is global, which it never has been.
  7. 'Liar dudes' said severe weather is increasing and it's not.
  8. 'Liar dudes' said weather disasters are the worst ever and they are not.
  9. 'Liar dudes' said the climate and its impacts could be predicted and they can't.
  10. 'Liar dudes' said that climate models are to be trusted and they shouldn't be.
  11. 'Liar dudes' said 97% of climate scientists agree, which is statistically true but an utter lie at the same time.
  12. 'Liar dudes' claimed there is a scientific "consensus" on global warming where one has never existed.
Off the Grid, Where the Living Is Good - NYTimes.com

We’ll be here for a year  [If the living is so good, why stop after only a year?]...We have no hot water, no microwave, no washing machine, no coffee maker and only enough solar electricity to power two laptops and a cellphone. We turn on a small generator [Wouldn't life be even better without the generator?] every other day to pump lake water into two 55-gallon barrels on our roof that serve our needs

I also note the obligatory pledge of allegiance: “I should make it clear that my comments do not cast doubt on the IPCC’s statements re: climate science.”. Interesting that that appears whenever someone notes something that challenges the IPCC viewpoint.
