[Willis Eschenbach] There is no science communication problem at all in the US. The majority of the public sees the stage productions of the climate alarmists for what they are—pseudo-science and doomsday fantasies.
Climate Lessons: Poetry on Bishop Hill, Christmas 2011
- Bishop Hill blog - CMEP: the back story
With Climategate 2.0 putting the story of the Cambridge Media and Environment Programme into the mainstream media, I thought it might be useful to tell the full story of how I stumbled across the partnership between Harrabin and Smith and how Tony Newbery and I spent four years trying to uncover what it did.
The results are in a short ebook which I am making available today. Details of how to get hold of it are here.
The Reference Frame: Kyoto protocol extended through 2020
So I would say that America is a relatively big winner. It seems very likely to me – well, at least I hope it is likely – that by 2020, pretty much no person living outside a psychiatric asylum will continue to talk climate hysteria. Whether the agreement about the Kyoto extension will be undone by 2020 is an open question.
Climate Common Sense: Delegates praise the non-deal at Durban
The Climate ramora infesting Durban for the last 2 weeks can now return home on CO2-spewing jets to re-attach themselves to their respective hosts and start sucking! Only the EU has been silly enough to extend Kyoto and everyone else said it was too hard and we will have another nice meeting sometime in the future as long as we don't have to do anything now. Australia's Climate Fraud Minister gormless Greg Combet of course thought it was a terrific non-deal as he is desperately trying to justify having exposed his country to economic carbon tax pain expecting others to follow suit and he is feeling very lonely.
