RAWALPINDI: Fruit and Vegetable Market President Ghulam Qadir Mir has said that due to a reduction in production of bananas in Sindh due to cold weather and floods in the province over the past two years, the country is currently importing the fruit from India and Dubai.

Sub-zero temps hit western Wyoming
Wednesday morning brought a cold front and a record-setting sub-zero chill to parts of western Wyoming.
The early morning temperature in Big Piney dropped to 23 degrees, beating the record low of 29 set in 1998, said Reid Wolcott, a meteorologist at the National Weather Service office in Riverton. Pinedale checked in at 28, one degree above the record low set in 1966.
