Climate change: World Bank predicts DISASTER - Rediff.com Business
According to the report 'Turn Down the Heat', all regions of the world would suffer -- some more than others -- but the report finds that the poor will suffer the most.

"A 4 degree warmer world can, and must be, avoided -- we need to hold warming below 2 degrees," World Bank Group president Jim Yong Kim said.

[Kim] "Lack of action on climate change threatens to make the world our children inherit a completely different world than we are living in today."
...
It said extreme heat waves, that without global warming would be expected to occur once in several hundred years, will be experienced during almost all summer months in many regions.

The World Bank 4 degree report in full here: and summary for policymakers here:
From the summary:
This report spells out what the world would be like if it warmed by 4 degrees Celsius, which is what scientists are nearly unanimously predicting by the end of the century, without serious policy changes....The science is unequivocal that humans are the cause of global warming, and major changes are already being observed: global mean warming is 0.8°C above pre industrial levels; oceans have warmed by 0.09°C since the 1950s and are acidifying; sea levels rose by about 20 cm since pre-industrial times and are now rising at 3.2 cm per decade;
