In case you missed it

I want to point out a very important quote by Jerome Jackson in this radio interview late last month:
The analysis of that [Luneau] video has been very thorough, both by the folks at Cornell and by several others, at least a dozen scientists now, and only Cornell confirms that the Ivory-bill is there, based on that video. I don't believe that it's an Ivory-billed woodpecker, and others don't believe that it's an Ivory-billed woodpecker.

At least a dozen scientists...

All unnamed.

Thorough analyses...

None presented.

Good science?

Nope.

For all I know he might be counting me as one of those dozen scientists. It's true I did not conclude that the bird was definitely an Ivorybill; however I did conclude that it was not a normal pileated.

I'm sure that Jackson was referring to some of the names listed here . In addition, I know the names of a number of other skeptical scientists who have not yet "gone public".

(Sorry, Bill, but I'm doubtful that Jackson was referring either to you or me).

Why are all of Jacksons evidence and analyses simply referered to without ever actually being presented?
