I'm sorry, but before we all throw stones, I just wanted to repost the Wood Pecker's Prayer. Just to help us keep our perspective.

Yes, perhaps if more people believed, we would already have had proof of the birds that we know are out there.

Has Bird Forum got a reality check yet?

Such a very sad story, it is heartbreaking to lose the bird in 1944 and to lose it again (even thuogh we never had it).
