This is just the last straw. Scamming concerned but naive donors for funds that could go to real conservation issues should be criminal. Look at the donor levels they are seeking for "research" that is not really research and a bird that doesn't really exist.

At least Fishcrow is happy to be rewarded with fooling a naive publc and not also picking their pockets. The fact that I am saying something good about Fishcrow shows how bad things have gotten on the TB side. I no longer find this funny. Shame on Eagle Optics, Reconyx and EBSCO Industries for perpetuating this sort of sham and providing endorsement of 33 year fantasies but not science.

This way to the egress!!

As the Cold Fusion "discoverers" eventually went to France, I think Bobby has finally found his france. Except it's in the US....in Alabama...Huntsville... but he can go there and do research on the IBWO for years to come.

What a great ending to the story that was never (well) told.

I give a quarter.

Bobby can't spell so good. He's obviously flying solo, as CLO friends should have caught his "Ithica" typo!

Corporation Details

I may certainly be wrong but it appears to me that this "Foundation" is incorporated in Alabama as a For-Profit. Am I reading this correctly? I thought "Donations" to For-Profits were considered "Purchases".

Buried on the Foundation's website is:

"Bobby Harrison's 'Ivory-billed Woodpecker Foundation' has officially received status as a not-for-profit organization whose goals are to continue its valuable research while educating the public about this exciting re-discovery."

They do not say anything about getting 501(c)3 status which would make donations tax-deductible.

Following up on the anonymous's "Corporation Details" I have to ask what is "PERSERVE THE IVORY-BILLED WOODPECKER/& OTHER SPECIES?"

Is this perverse or what?

Fitz, Timmy make a call and stop this nonsense!!!

Well....let's keep going down the donor level list...

Intoxicated $100.+
