Even if you've previously seen this April 2005 video of Dr. Katrina Kelner (editor at Science Magazine), you should watch it again.
The video contains says some pretty remarkable quotes.

Well, one thing is for certain: that clip is the perfect introductory scene for the documentary about this farce.
Unbelievable.
Speaking of that documentary, wasn't it supposed to be out before year-end? Tom? Has your day in the sun been eclipsed by a murder of crows?
For many months, I haven't heard anything about either Scott Crocker's "Ghost Bird" or the "believer" movie that George Butler was supposedly making...
For those of us on dial-up, what are some of the most interesting quotes?
Are you suggesting that dial-up users are generally unable to view this small video?
I had not seen this before and find it far more upsetting than the Luneau video – or more accurately the interpretation of that video.
Kelner says elsewhere that “retractions of scientific papers from the journal (Science) happen once to about three times each year” and “only about a third of retractions are because of misconduct”. I assume the remainder are withdrawn when it becomes clear that the data didn’t support the conclusion - without any hint of misconduct.
She might have been influenced by the gushing of Kennedy but her quotes from this video show how “group think” can blind people who should have shown a far higher level of professionalism.
