So they've confirmed that they have Blue Jays in the search area, just like every other large wooded area in the Eastern United States. Big discovery.

Back at base camp, Diane Lewbart treated us all to a hot bowl of clam chowder and campfire-baked peanut butter cookies—the perfect antidote to a long cold day in the swamp. We conversed `round the fire about some of the intriguing detections the Auburn crew has had thus far this season, rekindling our resolve to make the most of our second week here in the Choctawhatchee.

Two words: Stockholm Syndrome.
