She is able to approach rather shy species (Pileated Woodpecker, Sapsucker, Red-shouldered Hawk, Limpkin, Otter, turtles) and get crisp photos showing the pertinent field marks. She even understands the AF versus MF setting of her camera! I think this shows that you do not need years of experience to get good shots of wildlife suitable for documenting an identification.
It is a bit ironic that the Auburn team did not want her help. Perhaps she could give them a tutorial on digital photography!

They probably didn't want her because she takes pretty good clear pictures and she seems to know the difference between a Pileated and an IBWO.
