eBay auction for "Ivory-bill" photo ends

Here.

The high bid was $280; the reserve was not met.

Reserve not met; I am not surprised. There is really no way you can put a price on such an elusive photo. An invisible photo of a bird invisible to photography.

Apparently most believers "rejected it out of hand" as they are so fond of accusing the skeptics of doing. Seems like it would be worth more than $280 to put this controversy to rest with a real photo of an Ivory-billed, doesn't it?

Believe it or not, since it had a "winning bidder gets to see the photo before they pay" clause, I put in a bid. I figured if it happened to be a decent shot of a leucistic pileated it would be fairly valuable in itself.
