Yes, those sounds aren't consistent with anything else in the area.
Except for Pileateds. (Which sometimes double-knock.)
Or inanimate objects. (Which often produce double-knocking noises.)
Or young deer "kents".
Or blue jay "kents".
Or a bunch of other things no one has thought of yet.
Those "A cavities?" Rock solid evidence!
