This fits in nicely with the Bailo Generality on Global Warming. I have predicted that generally increasing temperatures will be a boon to the dry Southwestern states as rain will fall more frequently. A consequence of this is that there will be more cloudy days and hence less heat (Svensmark's Theory).

I have predicted there will be increased rainfall in the Southwest, the Sahara and Gobi making those arid lands arable.
