All data sets -- satellite, surface, and balloon -- have been pointing to rising global temperatures. In fact, they all have had upward pointing arrows for nearly a decade.I wonder what Ron's now thinking about updated data like this.

According to this story, he was a vocal skeptic, then switched to the believer side around 2005 because of "evidence" like this:

So, as the earth follows its elliptical orbit around the sun, it is closer to the sun in January. Why would this not cause upward arrows most years?
