Yup, NWF tried to register on Friday but was told it was booked up. They were nice enough to allow us to register as media to blog the event today, though.
You don't even have to source Watts for that - the folks at Realclimate WERE invited well in advance and even posted a snarky blog post about it and how they only go to REAL Scientific Conferences. I think I commented somewhere that if they hadn't been invited then the first thing would have been shrill cries of being 'shut out'.
