Speaking of court cases, I think this could be our opening.
The Alaskan native coastal village of Kivalina, filed suit against 14 electric utilities and the country's largest coal company arguing they are responsible for the village's eroding coastline.
Wouldn't it be nice to have Micheal Mann in the dock under oath explaining his rational, for weighting bristle cone pines 387 times all other factors, in his climate reconstruction? Wouldn't it be wonderful to have James Hansen under oath, justifying a 3 degree "adjustment" for temperature stations in Peru?
Wouldn't it be great to see Lonnie Thompson explain how it wasn't his job as a consultant for the movie "An Inconvenient Truth" to correct Al Gore about using the mislabeled and discredited hockeystick reconstruction?
Oh yes it would.
