A study centre, described as the world's first legal research centre into climate change will be opened in Canberra today by environment minister Peter Garrett.
Subjects on the researchers' agenda include the international legal regime for tackling climate change, after the Kyoto agreement runs out, climate litigation, and issues involving renewable energy, transport and forestry.
