Our premier could wind up with his carbon footprint in his mouth

Our premier could wind up with his carbon footprint in his mouth
With that thought, I pause to introduce Bjorn Lomborg, who founded the Copenhagen Consensus, a group of economists who believe that, while climate change may be real, it should be way down our list of priorities.

As Lomborg told Britain's Spectator magazine: "If you can spend a billion dollars and save 600,000 kids from dying, and save about two billion people from being malnourished, that's a lot better than spending the same amount to postpone global warming by about two minutes at the end of the century."

Back to the ICSC. As Tim Patterson puts it: "Millions of Canadians are coming to understand that the only constant about climate change IS change -- it changes constantly.

"Yet, governments continue wasting our money on the ridiculous goal of 'stopping climate change.'"
