UN's "World Environment Day" has now come and gone

World Environment Day
The objective of the day is to highlight resources and initiatives that promote low carbon economies and life-styles, such as improved energy efficiency, alternative energy sources, forest conservation and eco-friendly consumption.
To me, the worldwide lack of interest in this day highlighted the ongoing collapse of global warming hysteria since its peak in early 2007.

For example, in the A section of the St Paul Pioneer Press yesterday, I failed to see any mention of either World Environment Day OR the Senate debate on Lieberman-Warner.
