You can't believe what Al Gore says

The Herald-Mail
I find it most distressing that Mr. Jansen, in his letter on global warming, actually based his opinion on Al Gore's propaganda film. He would be hard-pressed to find any scientist (not living off a government grant) who would be able to support Gore or the IPCC report from the UN without blushing.

Let's just look at a few facts.

1. The IPCC report was a summary for politicians made by politicians, not scientists. It in no way reflected the reservations and alternative conclusions of the real scientists. One of the original contributors even had to threaten to sue in order to get his name removed.

2. The famous "hockey stick" curve showing the drastic increase in temperature over the last 1,000 years was a scientific hoax of unprecedented proportions. It was shown by a real scientist that the program used was rigged so that any batch of random data would produce the same results. No such dramatic change exists. This chart was quietly removed from current editions but you can still see it being shown in schools and legislative hearings ready to enact laws that will adversely affect us for decades...
