Australian ski report: "Powder everywhere today"

e-Travel Blackboard: Powder everywhere today - significant cold snap ensures the snow stays dry
Overnight Falls Creek had a top up of fresh snow which is expected to stay powdery for the remainder of this week due to the significant wind chill.

The minimum temperature overnight was a very cool minus 6.4C. The upside is the snow will be is extremely dry and enjoyable for both skiers and boarders.

In fact for an Australian alpine resort it is about as good as you'll ever experience owing to the cool weather we are currently getting.
