It's actually "cool" to be terrified of trace amounts of an essential atmospheric gas!

Ithaca Times - Ithaca is Cooling
This Independence Day, the city will mark the two-year anniversary of the Mayor's Local Action Plan Committee to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions of the City of Ithaca.
"It's an interesting, desperate time," said Mayor Carolyn Peterson. "These kinds of ideas regarding global warming and climate change are now not so marginalized, and are suddenly quite mainstream."
Peterson, a longtime environmental activist, has joined a network of more than 500 mayors in all 50 states who are using a clever marketing strategy to distribute their ideas: CoolMayors.com, or more specifically, Mayors for Climate Protection, which catalogues statistics and profiles of American mayors and the local action plans they have executed in attempts to try to "cool down" their cities and, hopefully, by extension, the planet.
But Mayor Peterson--are you absolutely sure that the Earth is too warm?
