Good news! Despite the recent global warming alarmism in the media that Arctic ice might melt away completely from the North Pole this summer, the latest scientific observations show that Arctic ice has actually increased by nearly a half million square miles over this time last year. This is in stark contrast to the Chicken Little hysteria that was being promoted less than a month ago on the CBS Early Show as reported by Kyle Drennen on June 27 here in NewsBusters...

One of the arguments used by AGW proponents is that the Arctic ice that melted away was thick ice while this new ice is thin ice. I have no doubt AGW is a colossal hoax, but would like some more clarity on this issue of Arctic ice, especially how to respond to the above argument with hard data.
I don't have any hard data on ice thickness, and I'm not sure the AGWers have any either.
However, if CO2 melted all that allegedly thick ice last year, why is a bit more CO2 having any trouble melting this year's allegedly thin ice?
