Nice use of the argument from authority fallacy by an academic.
The Woods Hole Research Center is George Woodwell's creation when the Marine Biological Laboratory fired him from The Ecosystem Center. Woodwell, who lied to congress concerning the persistance of DDT inorder to get it banned, has been a long time global warming advocate and has tapped into phylonthropic moneys that support his beliefs. Holdren is one of his lackies.
