Hall of Record: July Temperatures Near Detroit
It should be pretty obvious to those living in Michigan that "global warming," like Joe Black, has taken another "holiday." July continued the below normal temperatures for this Detroit suburb. In fact, year-to-date, there have been only two 90° degree days... one in June and one in July.

Well, as we all know that human activity is responsible for all global climate change, this is rather a sobering look at just how quickly the human activities of 13,000 years ago destroyed the planet; plunging it into a global ice age in less than a years' time. What, exactly the humans at that time did to precipitate such a dramatic change remains unknown - lending credence to the idea that all human activity must be immediately halted in order to Save the Planet.

Appearing as a guest on Thursday's Countdown on MSNBC, liberal New York Times columnist Paul Krugman, also a Princeton University professor of economics, informed viewers of what he believes is "the reason to hate Exxon," which is because "it has not done anything to address the energy problem, and it's actually spent heavily on, you know, financing climate skeptics, on basically blocking intelligent policy, on muddying the waters of our debate." He also lamented that America did not follow Jimmy Carter's advice on energy policy: "If Jimmy Carter had actually managed to sell us on energy conservation 30 years ago, we would be in a lot better shape than we are right now."
