New Zealand: Greens not worried by slip in polls
The Green Party is taking a philosophical approach to polls showing it slipping below five percent.
Two polls over the weekend show support for the party slumping, putting both it and New Zealand First out of Parliament altogether.
Greens co-leader Russel Norman says polls bounce around and he is not worried about the result at this stage. He says his party will be doing all it can to get over five percent, but if people do not want public transport, they will not vote Green.
Mr Norman says if people are concerned about climate change, they will vote Green, but if they do not care, they will not.

Unfortunately, its not apathy about global warming that has eroded support for the greens. Unfortunately, both the major parties also want to implement schemes to "control" global warming.
