Bear Creek Ledger » B.S. One - More hypocrisy from the Goreacle
She told about Gore’s boat which is a double decker houseboat named “Bio Solar One”(we can nickname it B.S. One). Supposedly this boat is powered by biodiesel and solar panels. When it comes to the Gores there’s always a however and this time is no different. According to the caller, she could find no solar panels anywhere on the exterior or roof of the boat. She said there were no biodiesel pumps available on the river around Memphis so she wasn’t quite sure how exactly this boat was powered by biodiesel. She also added that she had checked around the dock area to find out if anyone had seen the Gore’s hauling biodiesel for use with the boat.

Additionally, there were 2 personal water crafts (jet skis) on the boat.

Perhaps the Royal Society simply doesn’t understand its role here. It too has become caught up in the political process, and its members seem to be as confused about what is politics and what is science as the circus-freak protestors. It too makes the mistake of believing that science can answer political questions about the future. It runs with it, because to say ‘we don’t really know’ would be to undermine its own position at a time when people - particularly the rest of the establishment - are turning to science for answers because politics isn’t providing them. The result is a loss of faith in both politics and science.
