Alarmist kayaker's blog draws some comments

After describing extreme cold and ice, the reporter says that “the extreme conditions of today will become the norm of tomorrow.” That seems a safe statement, as the Arctic winter approaches.

It would be very helpful to give us location information. NSIDC maps and NASA satellite images show the route frozen solid for 500 miles to the pole. It all seems very poorly planned.

Yes, how about a map or at least report your position each day.

Otherwise we do not have a clue where you are, or where you have been.

Some photos of daily ice conditions would be good also.
