Some North Texas wind farm plans have officially gone south.

Florida Power & Light Company, a subsidiary of FPL Group, pulled the plug on a 35,000-acre Wilbarger County wind power project this week.

After fossil-fueled trip to Amsterdam, psychiatrist starts delivery business using cargo trikes largely powered by fossil fuels
One of their trikes’ key features is an electric-assist. It allows even diminutive riders to haul 800 pounds up hill – and zip away from a stop at the pace of a car. It doesn’t replace pedaling: the driver must pedal for the assist to work.
Note also that fossil fuels are almost certainly used to provide the food that ultimately powers the pedals; note also that the rider certainly emits carbon dioxide and possibly methane as well.
