If our politicians care about that, why are they dragging aides and reporters across Canada, not speaking to ordinary citizens but partisan crowds, and creating a giant carbon footprint?

So they can have a farm as a backdrop for an announcement about agriculture? Who cares? Haven't they heard of bluescreen technology?

Given modern communications, if they truly believed in the threat of global warming, they would have all junked their airplanes years ago and campaigned out of Ottawa, where they spend most of their time and our money anyway. That would have been setting an example.
