Public money deliberately used to influence artists to spread climate propaganda?

timestranscript.com - Feist part of a climate change expedition
Canadian musicians Feist and Martha Wainwright will be among artists and scientists on board a ship headed to Greenland this month in an expedition that will study the effects of climate change.

The Cape Farewell expedition aims to inspire the artists to respond to what they witness.

Cape Farewell, a U.K.-based organization created by artist David Buckland in 2001, has led a series of Arctic expeditions.

Other musicians on the ship will include K.T. Tunstall, Vanessa Carlton, Laurie Anderson, Jarvis Cocker and Robyn Hitchcock. There will also be visual artists, architects and playwrights, among others, on board.

Cape Farewell says it uses artists to communicate "on a human scale the urgency of the global climate challenge."

It is supported by the Arts Council England, British Council, the Bromley Trust, Compton Foundation, Natural Environment Research Council, British Geological Survey, National Oceanography Centre and other groups.
