Sunnyside: Bradbury tours for global warming - Portland News in Oregon

Secretary of State Bill Bradbury is traveling the state to give a global-warming presentation as often as he can before he leaves office in January because of term limits.

On Sept. 30 at 6:30 p.m., he'll bring the show to Sunnyside-Centenary United Methodist Church, 3520 S.E. Yamhill St.

"Bill Bradbury was one of the first 50 people trained by Al Gore to give this presentation," says Suzanne Veaudry Casaus, global-warming adviser and outreach coordinator for the secretary of state's office.

The presentation, while based on Gore's, is very Oregon-specific, she adds. It focuses on the impact of global warming within the state and solutions that Oregonians can work on.
