Brits continue to book flights despite environmental concerns
Brits are continuing to book flights despite having environmental concerns, new research has revealed.

A poll commissioned by Camcon Technology, carried out by international research agency YouGov, showed that climate change, noise and air pollution worried 74 percent of Brits, yet only 22 percent said the concerns would limit the number of flights they take.

Commenting on the findings, Danny Chapchal, chief executive officer of Camcon, said that rather than altering their own travel plans, passengers expected flights carriers to reduce their environmental impact.

The survey also revealed that 54 percent of respondents were not concerned by the proposed expansion at Heathrow or at other UK airports, while 41 percent agreed that a greater flights capacity was needed.
