Jennifer Marohasy » Correcting Ocean Cooling: NASA Changes Data to Fit the Models
NASA scientist, Josh Willis, was so concerned that his data, showing ocean cooling, did not fit the official consensus on climate change that he searched for a solution. Eventually he “applied a correction” so the historical ocean temperature record showed a relatively steady increase in line with the climate models.
An Obama Green Jobs Corps? - how much would this lower global temperatures (and incidence of kidney stones)?
Many political observers (most recently my colleague David Carr) have written about the Obama youth machine — and how, with the election over, the president-elect can and should continue to harness the passions that he has stirred up.

One place to start might be in the area of renewable energy — something that college campuses have already embraced. A paragraph of Mr. Obama’s energy plan (see p. 4) envisions a program to aid “disconnected and disadvantaged youth” work in efficiency and other environmental areas.

“I think the slogan should be ‘Retrofit America’” said Van Jones, the founding president of Green For All, an organization based in Oakland, Calif., that advocates for job-training and other government aid to help people from disadvantaged communities get involved in “green-collar” jobs.

Green For All is soon to roll out a plan for policymakers that recommends a $33 billion investment over five years in a Clean Energy Corps, with the money going to job creation (primarily through a loan fund for retrofits), job training, and national service.
