New Zealand: Smoke blamed on illegal frost-fighting
Mystery surrounds the origins of thick black smoke seen over Cromwell and Bannockburn during frost-fighting activities at the weekend.Australia: Bravo, Vin Good
The Otago Daily Times has been told the smoke may have come from tyres being burned but this could not be confirmed yesterday.
Dr Kelly joined several speakers organised by Clean Energy for Eternity (CEFE), who spoke about solar and wind farms and how community based projects might be established.

"I am a noted local climate change sceptic, but as mayor I have to take notice of the community's views," Cr Good said.
