An environmental program based on the totally bogus and non-existent “global warming” would impose “cap and trade” requirements on all greenhouse gas emissions, requiring that “carbon credits” be purchased just to stay in business. Utilities, goaded by the States in which they operate, have already begun to purchase tens of millions of dollars of these meaningless credits and, of course, passing the cost onto their consumers. Now think of such a program as applied to bakeries, pizza outlets, dry cleaners, and every single business, large and small. Think of the bureaucracy that would be needed to enforce it.
