Phoenix: Our View: Environment team to cost 'green' | Opinion | eastvalleytribune.com
President-elect Barack Obama's new environmental team may bode ill - trillions of dollars of ill - if they are true to their green colors and implement administratively what even the Democratic-controlled Congress has refused to do legislatively, all in the name of saving America from climate change.
UK: Late drilling and weather impact crops
Winter wheat crops have been slow to get going, with most drilled later than normal, and up to 10 per cent of the expected final area is still planned to be drilled if conditions allow.

Late drilling and slow growth in cooler temperatures, often exacerbated by wet, cloddy seedbeds, has meant only about 20 per cent of crops have started tillering, well behind the same time last year when over 50 per cent of crops were tillering.
