We have now seen the effect of immoral handling of financial institutions that caused financial disaster to America, deepening its recession and now affecting us globally. We have seen the gluttony of oil cartel members who jacked up the cost of oil per barrel at $150 - a foretaste of what will happen when world oil supply dwindles. We have witnessed the angry retaliation of nature against man’s folly in wantonly damaging ecological balance. We have floods everywhere. This year, ice around both the North and South poles have melted severely due to global warming, threatening to put under sea water all low-lying areas around the globe in a few years unless man changes his ways relative to ecological change.
