WILDLIFE experts expect more unusual animals to be seen in the Lothians after finding one of Britain's largest bat species roosting in a bat box for the first time.
Members of the Lothian Bat Group were amazed to find the noctule bat in the box in Roslin Glen, Midlothian. It is the first time they have found the species roosting in 15 years of monitoring the area.
