Thailand: Severe cold condition reported in 35 provinces
The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) indicates that so far 32 provinces throughout the nation are suffering through plunging temperature while blankets have been expeditiously distributed to affected residents.

Following its latest monitoring on the cold weather situation nationwide, the DDPM revealed that a total of 35 provinces, 358 districts, and 24,985 villages have been troubled by severe cold weather with 15 provinces in the North, 16 provinces in the Northeast, 1 province in the East and 3 provinces in the central region. Meanwhile, 32 provinces have already been declared cold-spell disaster zones, and 367,388 blankets have been distributed to cold victims.
