Tony Sharp: Plane Stupid plain moronic
Hansen - and his cohorts who infest the International Panel on Climate Change - bear responsibility for what happened this morning. It is their delicately constructed computer models and scientifically discredited prophecies that spawn the actions of Kember and Co. The facts that are known are set aside - and even denied - so they can be replaced by mere hypotheses borne of ever changing algorithms calculated to deliver their desired results.news: Farmers' Almanac more accurate than National Weather Service?
The irresponsibility of the climate alarmist 'specialists' fuels the irresponsibility of the protestors. These eco-warriors must be offering prayers of thanks for Hansen. The almanac's predictions were initially buttressed by the fact that 190-year-old publication was one of very few to predict the long snowy winter of 2007-08, when Madison experienced an unprecedented 101 inches of snow.
And the almanac was almost eerily correct so far this winter in predicting that Wisconsin and Michigan would be pounded by heavy snow from Dec. 8-11. Right on target!

...Just west of the Mohawk Valley, Watertown reported a low of -15 degrees, he said.
Many motorists found themselves having trouble starting their vehicles this morning, said Ed Welsh, general manager of Central Region AAA New York.
Local AAA has already responded to more than 100 calls for service involving dead car batteries and flat tires in Oneida and Herkimer counties by 8:30 a.m. this morning, Welsh said.
AAA normally averages about 100 calls a day in the Utica area, and Welsh anticipates 400 to 500 calls will be received throughout the rest of the day.
