Unusual "Polar Bear Plunge" story appears to contain no CO2 hysteria
Five years ago, hundreds of revelers in bathing suits and silly costumes frantically running into the ocean on a Saturday morning in December would be an unlikely sight at Coopers Beach in Southampton Village.

That’s changed thanks to the Polar Bear Plunge, an annual event to benefit Human Resources of the Hamptons, a charity that helps local families in need. Hundreds of participants and spectators are expected this Saturday, December 13, at the fifth annual plunge.
U.N. talks split on aiding poor to cope with warming | Environment | Reuters
POZNAN, Poland (Reuters) - U.N. climate negotiators sought on Wednesday to break deadlock on the launch of a new fund in 2009 to help poor nations adapt to more floods, droughts and rising seas.
In the Reuters article above, note the helpful illustration of a crying Indonesian woman fleeing an allegedly CO2-induced flood. I wonder if this November flood would have been avoided if only Obama hadn't taken a fossil-fueled vacation in Hawaii last August?
