Australian Climate Madness: China to increase coal production by 30% by 2015
China puts its economy before nebulous half-baked climate nonsense. Why is Australia not doing the same?

This story puts the final nail in the Government's argument for an early introduction of an ETS. Krudd & Co have been selling us the story (at huge expense - $14m at the last count) that China will participate in a "global agreement" to reduce emissions to be signed in Copenhagen, which is why Australia should be out in front, leading the way with its two-errors-in-four-words "Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme".
NC Media Watch: Is our current climate unusual, not really
...In other words the San Francisco Bay has been much warmer in the past and much cooler too. The warming and cooling are natural cycles in the region, so why are we spending billions of our tax dollars trying to control a natural cycle with economy killing regulations? Really?
The Conrad Foundation and Fraudster Gore's “We” Campaign Announce Partnership
The Conrad Foundation announced a partnership with the Alliance for Climate Protection’s “We” Campaign to challenge high school students throughout the nation to address the climate crisis.

Focusing this year on Vice President and Nobel laureate Al Gore’s recent “Repower America” challenge, the Foundation’s annual education competition, the Pete Conrad “Spirit of Innovation Awards” will challenge teams of high school students to create innovative products for use in various fields of science and technology. Teams vie for $120,000 in prize money and the opportunity to commercialize their products for general market use.
...
The We Campaign will support the competition by providing students educational information on climate and renewable energy policies, answering questions, as well as assist with judging entries in the renewable energy category.
