Our climate is so complex and chaotic that it may never be fully understood. At the current level of understanding it is beyond human capabilities to describe such complexities in computer models. It is also very dangerous to our nation, our freedom, and our prosperity to formulate restrictive government energy policies based upon such a flimsy understanding of global climate and the causes of its long history of climate variations.

UK: Government set to payout £100M in cold weather payouts

Arctic conditions have triggered record cold weather payouts - which are set to top £100million today.

Hard-up pensioners and other vulnerable people have shared £93million so far this winter - £24million was paid out in just one day last Friday.

They are in line for another £15million when more bitter temperatures are logged this afternoon. The awards compare with just £2.5million paid out in the whole of last winter.

Pensioners, the disabled and many unemployed parents are entitled to help when local weather stations record seven consecutive days of freezing weather.

Will British taxpayers be content to pay for vast simultaneous expenditures to fight real cooling and alleged warming?
