Overnight Florida Freeze Likely Damaged Some Crops

"From the reports we're getting, we expect some significant damage," said Lisa Lochridge, spokeswoman for the Florida Fruit and Vegetable Association.

We are told that global warming is caused by human activity, that dire consequences will ensue unless we do something about it, and that we must start fixing it now before it is too late. That means that we are supposed to have more days like these bitterly cold days we’ve had recently. Could someone tell me how this is a good thing?
