Say it ain't so, Hugh: Is Hugh Hewitt endorsing public funding for wind turbines?
If President Obama was to demand the funding for and enabling legislation to kick start the construction of the dozens of new nuclear power plants this country needs, as well as the wind turbines envisioned by T. Boone Pickens and the grid expansion everyone knows is necessary, not only would he be creating thousands and thousands of great jobs, he'd be powering the U.S. up for a second American century.

Letter to the Editor:

There is an abundance of faith and intelligence in people who doubt the science behind the whole environmental/green/global warming package, but even they can see the practical value of the upcoming corporate “tax” grocery stores will be charging for plastic bags.

Heck, we’re going to need the larger recycle bags to carry all the money required to pay for the groceries.

It seems as though the wind has been taken out of the sails of the Global Warming bandwagon, but not before billions of dollars were spent on “green” technologies. Again, it’s just common sense to be environmentally friendly to our Mother Earth. But what followed Gore’s attack on the world was more of a marketing ploy and profit driving frenzy than an honest attempt to save the planet.
