Study: Ethanol Isn’t Helping, And Probably Won’t Ever Help, Rural Economies - Say Anything
Through the history of this country energy has been supplied to Americans by energy products that could be sold at a profit. Now we’ve entered an age where, using the flimsy excuse of “global warming,” everyone seems to want our energy to come from sources that a) aren’t viable without subsidy and b) couldn’t possibly meet all of our energy demands even if they were viable.

What’s sad is that even as global warming hysteria falls out of favor (and I think there’s only so long the public can be sold on that stupidity) our policymakers will likely be so used to thinking of themselves as the masters of our energy supplies that they’ll go on trying to pick winners and losers in the energy markets despite the simple fact that the “invisible hand” of the open market is likely to make choices much more wisely (and free of bias bought by lobbyists) than politicians ever could.
Government-sponsored climate change "champion" Jack White gets in tune - ChronicleLive
Jack, 16, a pupil at St Robert of Newminster School, in Washington, won the role of Youth Climate Change Champion for the region for 2008 following a competition run by Defra as part of the Government’s Act on CO2 campaign.

He and eight other regional champions were appointed by the Prime Minister in February last year.

Jack secured victory with the help of his band using their first recording Don’t Steal The Planet to help encourage others to tackle climate change.

Now he has used the £1,000 he was awarded to help promote climate change issues further to fund a studio session to allow Troubleshooter to record Enough is Enough, which emphasises the need for people to make a change to their lives.
I can't claim to understand the lyrics on the video, but I think he actually sang the words "Don't disagree".
