The Timing of the Carbon Tax

To force a new carbon tax on Americans at any time in the next two years is going to require the Democrats to immediately turn around the economy and convince the planet to warm up again. Sadly, at least for the new controlling party in Washington, these are miracles that even Barack Obama can't likely perform.

Al Gore, the pope of the "global warming" movement, has now been sued for fraud, and even anthropogenic climate change is no longer considered to be the "scientific consensus" that was once peddled to the masses as the "ultimate truth".

Let's be environmentally-friendly, by all means. Let's conserve our precious natural resources and reduce waste. Let's remove the pollution from our air and water. That's all fine, and I'm 100 percent behind those measures. But, please, stop this nonsense of "global warming" – all it achieves is putting people off doing good things for the environment.
