Will climate change force us to reconsider our freedoms?
A recent British Library debate, hosted by Gabrielle Walker the eminent broadcaster and climate change expert, debated whether fundamental freedoms would have to be sacrificed in the battle against climate change.

There cannot be many platforms on which former London Mayor, Ken Livingstone would be seen in agreement with the man who is charting Tesco’s approach to sustainability. But it says a huge amount about the vast scale of the dangers facing the human race that here, all the speakers, from Friends of the Earth to world renowned climate scientists, were broadly in agreement.
Wind farms aren't economically or environmentally sustainable
We saw in the recent cold snap how a large high-pressure area resulted in low winds across Britain, leaving wind turbines idle just when we needed them most. Nothing could better have demonstrated their futility. The Renewable Energy Foundation says: "We must remember that wind turbines are garden ornaments, not power stations."

Wind farms are the worst kind of gesture politics. They salve the consciences of the chattering classes while doing little for the environment, and adding double-digit percentages to our electricity bills. And they blight homes and lives and local communities.

The Amazing Story Behind Tho Global Warming Scam
We are already suffering from this CO2 silliness in many ways. Our energy policy has been strictly hobbled by no drilling and no new refineries for decades. We pay for the shortage this has created every time we buy gas. On top of that the whole thing about corn based ethanol costs us millions of tax dollars in subsidies. That also has driven up food prices. And, all of this is a long way from over.

And, I am totally convinced there is no scientific basis for any of it.

Global Warming. It is the hoax. It is bad science. It is a high jacking of public policy. It is no joke. It is the greatest scam in history.
